Antonio Larosa is an internationally respected designer, educator, and consultant. Born and raised in Italy, Antonio studied architecture and design at the Milan Polytechnic University. He also studied city planning and archaeology at the University of Milan. Following graduation he moved to the United States where he worked on a wide range of projects from architecture and interior design, to furniture and product design, graphic design and urban planning. His designs have been on display at internationally renowned shows in Milan, High Point, Chicago, Tokyo, Cologne, Moscow, New York and world class galleries including the Vitra Design Museum. Antonio believes in design's ability (and responsibility) to evoke an emotional response that gets people engaged with one another, so his main focus is designing public spaces and furniture that foster relationships instead of isolation. For many years Antonio taught furniture and interior design courses in various private and state universities. He frequent serves as a judge for design competitions and as a guest lecturer on a broad range of design topics. Antonio Larosa lives in Phoenix, Arizona.
